Galvanized Steel Wire Rope
Overview
Galvanized steel is produced by coating carbon steel with a protective layer of zinc. To form galvanized steel wire rope , carbon steel wires are immersed in molten zinc and then cooled, forming galvanized steel wire. The newly formed Galvanized Wire Rope is then fed into a stranding machine, where it is helically stranded to produce galvanized rope.
Key features
- Strength : Galvanized Wire Rope is manufactured from high carbon steel. It maintains the strength characteristics and resistance to other forms of.
- Corrosion Resistance: Galvanization protects the wire from corrosion over a long lifetime of use.
Applications
- Cranes and hoists
- Winches and haulage
- Guying and structural work
- Sling making
