Overview

PN398(A)(SE) is an edge-safe expandable lanyard designed to provide secure mobility while minimizing trip risks. Built with 44mm-wide elasticated polyester webbing, it contracts when relaxed to under 1.5m and extends to 2.0m when needed. This elastic property reduces effective length during use, keeping slack to a minimum. The lanyard integrates an energy absorber for shock reduction and is equipped with a Steel Screw Locking Karabiner on one end and a lightweight Aluminium Scaffold Hook on the other.

Inspection and care

Inspect harnesses, lanyards and connectors before every use. Remove from service any equipment that has arrested a fall, or shows cuts, burns, chemical damage or deformed hardware. Have equipment inspected by a competent person at least every twelve months.
