The KARAM DA05 Hitch Mounting Davit is a portable fall arrest solution for confined space access, ideal when overhead structures are unavailable. It attaches to any vehicle with a 2-inch tow hitch receiver, allowing for easy transportation and setup. The davit features an adjustable upper mast with three height positions and a foldable support leg for stability and compact storage. Made from durable aluminum alloy, it is lightweight yet strong.

The system comes with a upper mast offset (boom) that offers three adjustment positions.

The Hitch Mounting Davit is compatible with specific KARAM winches, such as PN817(DP), and PN818(DP).
The trailer hitch mount of the Davit is designed to fit into a 2” (51.0mm) hitch receiver.

Inspection and care

Inspect harnesses, lanyards and connectors before every use. Remove from service any equipment that has arrested a fall, or shows cuts, burns, chemical damage or deformed hardware. Have equipment inspected by a competent person at least every twelve months.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and chemicals.
