Overview

The PR02 Openable Protective Sleeve is designed to extend the life of anchorage ropes by shielding them from abrasion caused by rough or sharp surfaces. Made from flexible PVC material, it offers a smooth protective barrier while remaining lightweight and easy to handle during work at height. The sleeve can be conveniently opened and secured using the stitched Velcro closure, allowing it to be installed or removed at any point along the rope without disconnecting system components.

Inspection and care

Inspect harnesses, lanyards and connectors before every use. Remove from service any equipment that has arrested a fall, or shows cuts, burns, chemical damage or deformed hardware. Have equipment inspected by a competent person at least every twelve months.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and chemicals.
