Dee Shackles

Overview

Mega Link Dee Shackles are forged, quenched and tempered alloy steel D-shackles with a maximum proof load of 2.2× WLL and ultimate load of 6× WLL. Available with screw pin (G-210), round pin (G-215), or bolt type (G-2150), they cover chain sizes from 1/4″ to 3″ with WLL from 0.5T to 85T for versatile rigging and load attachment.

Inspection and care

Before each lift, check that the pin is fully screwed home and that the body is not bent, stretched, cracked or worn by more than a tenth of its original section. Replace a shackle whose WLL marking can no longer be read. Never substitute a bolt for the pin.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and chemicals.
