Overview

KARAM's energy absorbing twisted rope lanyards are commonly used in fall protection systems. These lanyards have energy absorbers which are designed to mitigate the impact forces experienced by a person in the event of a fall from height. This absorption of energy helps prevent injury by gradually decelerating the fall rather than abruptly stopping it.

Inspection and care

Inspect harnesses, lanyards and connectors before every use. Remove from service any equipment that has arrested a fall, or shows cuts, burns, chemical damage or deformed hardware. Have equipment inspected by a competent person at least every twelve months.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and chemicals.
