Hand protection
Coated, cut-resistant, chemical-resistant and general-purpose gloves for every kind of handling.
Nothing here matches every filter.
Choosing a glove
Match the glove to the task. Coated knit gloves suit assembly and general handling. Cut-resistant gloves suit sheet metal and glass. Chemical work needs a glove tested against the specific chemical.
Size matters: a glove that is too large reduces grip and dexterity, one too small tires the hand.
Reading EN 388
EN 388 gives four or five figures: abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture, then a letter for the ISO 13997 cut test from A to F. EN ISO 374 covers chemicals, EN 407 heat and EN 511 cold.
