Webbing or round sling
A webbing sling spreads the load across a wide flat face, which is why it is chosen for painted, polished and fragile loads. A round sling is an endless loop that can be turned between lifts so that wear is spread around it.
Polyester slings are colour coded by WLL under EN 1492: violet 1 t, green 2 t, yellow 3 t, grey 4 t, red 5 t, brown 6 t, blue 8 t and orange from 10 t. Always check the label.
