Capacity and lift
Choose a block for its capacity and for the lift: the height from the floor to the hook at its highest, plus a margin. Standard lifts are 3 m, and longer chain can be fitted to order.
A trolley carries the block along an I-beam. Match it to the capacity and to the beam's flange width, and use a geared trolley where the load is heavy or must be placed precisely.
